Oh dear

that walk of you

lightfoot like a deer

long legs

huge paws

strong antlers

when I saw you today

it came back to me

a forgotten chanting

an old feeling

of wanting

to start

dancing

but no

forget all the smiles

I’ll get my distance

as always

go home

and sing

when I think of you

dearest

deer
