soos ek uitstap in die diepblou nag
dalk aan die einde van jou dagdroomdag
hang ’n wêreld aan ’n syleer
’n leer bestrooi met liggies
en die liggies skyn op aandwatervissies
en alles weerkaats tintelend
en dans en beweeg ekstaties
in die skitterende wiegende ligte
ek ontvang met ope arms
die waaiende lieflike glansinge
wat retireer en verdwyn saam met jou
en jou tollende malende
geheime
nisse

Was eintlik die dancing fountains with music at the Brightwater Commons and now it is a place of business, the gardens
Les fontaines des jardins et le ruisseau murmurant où nageaient les canards ont disparu.
The garden fountains and the murmuring stream where the ducks swam have disappeared.

It was directed towards leisure and entertainment and fell into financial ruin, but now it is directed towards businesses like Indredible Connection and I find that a relief, because it means I do not have to go to the super big Cresta anymore for this and that. So it is better, but sad in another way. The thing is Randburg is not a holiday town and Joburg is a fast paced commercially driven world hub. Ocean Basket survived. The last two years was the first time in my life that I noticed businesses who come and go and I saw it is sad when a shop has to close. Our dear Tales and Fables Books moved to Prot Alfred and there are no water or gardens at the new Ferndale on Republic Centre. Befor Brightwaters there was a dam in the middle: The Waterfront. Opposite the road there is still a dam in a semi-private park. Locked. Think one can get a key I suppose.
Lots of children's playgrounds and skateboard places elsewhere.
